Artist's Bio: Huntsville, AL artist Ann Caudle was born in New England into a very mobile Navy family and traveled all over the US. Art was never considered as a suitable career by her parents. (neither was engineering, but THAT is another story!) Creating art was always in her blood, even as a child. She studied ono her own during high school (no school art classes were available) and won prizes in local art competitions. While being an artist has been a lifelong dream, careers in engineering, teaching and computer programming (and children) delayed the start. She helped put a man on the moon and trained astronauts in Huntsville, AL. A job layoff in 1993 provided her with the opportunity to explore new venues. Ann returned to school and studied Graphic Design at the University of Alabama in Huntsville and later moved on to Art Studio. Ann developed a love for watercolors and pastel, and now oils. She has traveled acround the country and Europe painting with master instructors. Today she works harder and longer than on any previous occupation. Painting is not easy or relaxing. The business of doing art also includes juried art exhibits, art fairs, framing, web sites, brochures and postcards, but she loves it. Ann feels very lucky to be able to spend her days doing the things she loves the most and bringing joy to the people who view and purchase her paintings.
