>Artist's Bio: Donna Chieves spent a year in Paris, studying at the Sorbonne. During her stay in Paris, she also studied painting. While on a stay in India to study under a Fulbright scholarship, she also took an opportunity to study painting. She has a B.A. in Art from the University of Montevallo, a B.S. from Oglethrope University, and has studied at the Atlanta College of Art and Georgia State University, in addition to frequent workshops. Donna specializes in oil or watercolor portraits of people, pets, or homes, but enjoys plein air work as well. She teaches painting at the Arceneau Art Gallery in Birmingham, AL.
